I’m Audrey, Health & Wellness Coach.

Confidence isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you build. And resilience isn’t about avoiding life’s hardships—it’s about rising through them with strength, courage, and clarity.

That’s what I help my clients do: rebuild confidence, discover self-worth, and realign with purpose—so they can move through challenges and come out stronger on the other side.

My Story

Over the years, life has tested me in every way:

  • I was diagnosed with a rare brain condition, underwent major surgery, and had to face the unknown with courage and faith.

    I deeply understand what it means to face uncertainty, advocate for your health, and rebuild from the inside out. You can read more about my CCM story here—starting on page 9.

  • I navigated unhealthy work environments and advocated for change.

  • I supported loved ones through toxic relationships, disability, disease, relationship changes, and loss.

  • And I’ve endured trauma related to narcissistic abuse and violence, forcing me and my family to find strength in places I didn’t know we had.

Through it all, I refused to lose hope, optimism, or belief in myself. I learned that self-care is not selfish—it’s survival. I learned that mental health must be protected like gold. And I learned that when you align your actions with your values, you can rise from anything. That’s the fire I bring into my coaching.

Why I Coach

I know what it feels like to be burned out, overwhelmed, and disconnected from yourself. I also know what it takes to rebuild: confidence, clarity, and courage. I became a coach because I don’t want anyone to feel stuck or powerless in the face of stress, burnout, or life’s curveballs. You have more strength inside you than you realize—I’ll help you find it, grow it, and use it.

Professional Background

I’ve spent my career at the intersection of health and leadership—helping people find balance and reconnect with their bodies, minds, and purpose.

With a Bachelor of Science in Health Fitness: Preventative & Rehabilitative Programs, I began my career in cardiology. I managed a thriving cardiology practice where I handled everything from operations to patient care and clinical support.

I am an RYT200 Yoga Instructor. This training allowed me to dive deep into yoga, breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness. That experience, along with my introduction to Ayurveda, opened up a new dimension of healing—one that connected the dots between the mind, body, and soul.

With a Master’s in Human Resources Management, I’ve also spent years supporting professionals in the hospitality and real estate industries—bringing together my clinical background and leadership to promote well-being at both individual and organizational levels.

My Health & Wellness Coach training from an NBHWC accredited program (mindbodygreen) gave me the skills to put it all together.

But my deepest understanding of health and well-being came not from textbooks or titles—it came from navigating my own life challenges and burnout. That inner work reshaped everything. It led me to this calling: guiding others through their own transformation, from surviving to fully living.

A Few Fun Facts

  • I love the outdoors, camping, and traveling—nature is my reset button.

  • I was born and raised a proud Yooper (from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula).

  • I’m a mom to a sweet baby boy and two lovely pups, a wife, and a homeowner who’s always dreaming up new house or landscaping projects.

Why The Name Firelight?

Firelight came to me during an outdoor meditation—before I even knew what form my work would take. I just knew I wanted to return to my roots in wellness.

What began as a blog (Firelight Foundations) evolved into Firelight Wellness—a space to guide and support others on their own path to healing and wholeness.

The name holds deep meaning:

  • Fire symbolizes passion, courage, and the strength we carry—even in hard times. It ignites the belief in ourselves.

  • Light represents peace, clarity, and the warmth we welcome into our lives—the serenity we embrace in moments of pure bliss.

  • Foundations ground us in what matters most: nature (the core elements that define our existence), self-trust, and purpose.
